I’ve loved sports all my life and have dabbled in many. Although I’ve not necessarily mastered all of them I have enjoyed them all immensely. I have my favourites of course and swimming will always be my first love.
I’ve recently started to learn rowing, this has been very challenging and also very rewarding. It’s great to have a new challenge and rowing is one of the very few team sports I have been involved in. Swimming might even be in danger as top dog for the first time in my life (interesting thought!).
I started this blog largely because I’m involved in swimming and wanted to videotape some of the more complicated swimming drills and share them via link and post discussions on ‘other things swimming’. But it doesn’t need to stop there. The sky is the limit (so they say). So say or ask anything you want. I may not have the answers, but someone’s bound to.
Whatever sport you choose and whatever level you are at there are many benefits – health, emotional, community even spiritual. Stay involved and give it everything you’ve got!
